My Story

I am fundraising for Moorfields Eye Hospital by walking Eye-to-Eye on 8th March in London!

I've spent a lot of time at Moorfields over the past few years, accompanying my grandmother - Judie Lannon - who had Macular Degeneration. It was a real struggle for her, even with her incredible spirit, grace and positivity. Moorfields treated her with nothing other than dignity, giving her the best possible care and treatment. 

She passed away last summer. But I know how passionately she felt about Moorfields being able to deliver the same generous service, and continue it's research into treatment for chronic conditions like hers. It would be an honour to make a small contribution to further this cause, in her name and the name of others.

So please donate whatever you can - it will mean the world to me and many more people like Judie, who may find themselves losing their vision but not their independence, thanks to the work of everyone at Moorfields.
